SAP CRM BP Master Record

BUSINESS PARTNER

Business Partner (definition) = A Business Partner is an entity who is involved in terms of business relevant relationship to the manufacturing company.
Example = Wholesalers, Retailers, Distributors, Vendors, Employees etc..
BP is categorized into 3 parts.
·         Person (e.g., Anil-employee, Retailer, Wholesaler)
·         Organization (e.g., Reliance Fresh, Dept. of Organization, Tata Supplying)
·         Group (eg., Lion’s Club, Mahila Anganabadi)
To maintain the information about the business is called Business Partner Record.
BP record is categorized into 2 parts
·         General Data (This includes basic information like name, address, bank details, tax details of BP)
·         Relationship Data (Under this view we will establish relationship b/w two or more BP records)
Role Description                                                                              BP Role
·         A Party who placed order to purchase goods                      Sold-To-Party.
·         A Party who receives goods                                                        Ship-To-Party.
·         The Party on whose name invoice is created                       Bill-To-Party.
·         The Party who settle Invoice                                                      Payer.
·         The Party which supplies Raw Material                                  Vendor/Supplier.
·         Point of Contact at cost                                                                 Contact Person
·         An individual working for Mfg. Company                                               Employee.
·         The entity who sells similar product in market                    Competitor.
Object ID of BP = BUS1006………….T-Code = <BP>

Click the button Organization.
For each & every records have its unique identification is called Grouping.
Number Ranges:
·         Internal Number Ranges (Automatically processed by system, Decentralized, Numerical)
·         External Number Ranges (Manually processed by end-user, Centralized, Alpha-Numeric)
Grouping = Internal Number Assignment……BP Role = Sold-To-Party.

Click Create.

In Address tab, Mention, Title = Mr., Name = TEST BP, Search Term ½ = TEST
Street /House Number = 123456 ADD-1, Post Code/City = 123456, Country = IN, Time Zone = INDIA.
Go to the Address Overview tab,  to create an address under address overview section,


Click the button Create under address overview tab, maintain address and click continue.
Repeat the process for creating more address.

Scroll down Address Usage Section. Select or highlight the required address type. Ex-send bill and click create button, select the required address from the dialog box and click continue.

Repeat the process for assigning other address to the required address type.

Go to the Identification tab, maintain the required information. Ex-ID types & tax information of BP.

Go to the Control tab, here you are controlling a data of BP, Click the button Calling Hours,

Specify, Period = 1 Year, Rule = Weekly periodic calling hours, week rule = every week, maintain required exception, and click copy. Maintain goods receiving and visiting hours.

Go to the tab Payment Transaction, payment transactions can be done under 3 different ways- 1) Cash payment, 2) Cheque or online, 3) Credit cards (Payment Cards) these informations can be maintained under payment transactions.

Go to the tab Long Texts, select Correspondence.
Write some text = Text For BP.

Go to the tab Marketing Attributes, Choose Attribute Set 4LIVING Template & Click on Assign Attribute Set.

Click Continue. Repeat the process for rest two rows.



Click the button Sales Area Data and Assign Sales Area.


Click the button Relationships.
Specify, Relationship Cat. = Has Contact Person, Relationship to BP = 400290 (Press F4 to open search window, go to tab Partners by BP role and specify BP role = Contact person, click continue and select the required contact person BP)………Press enter.
Contact Person Relationship Create: General Data window will open.
Specify Contact Person information like VIP = Management, Department = Sales, Function = Head of Sales, Authority = Sole authority. Then Assign Company Address.
Go to Sales &Distribution tab and maintain the required calling and visiting hours.
Go to the Usage tab, Click the button select and choose the required Sales Area and specify, the partner function = contact person…………Click Continue.


A new tab page will be created for every relationship category we defined.
Specify, Relationship Category = Has the employee responsible, Press F4 (Choose the required employee responsible)
Maintain the required Sales Area and specify, partner function = Brand Sales Manager.
Now when a relationship is created between BO a reverse relationship will be created automatically. To check further data save the BP records and open the contact person BP record and go to relationship tab and see the assigned relationship.

SAP CRM Alternative Identifier

ALTERNATIVE IDENTIFIER

During Business Transaction maintenance instead of maintaining original product Ids, we may enter alternative Ids.
System will automatically determine original product information.
Process:
·         Creating Attributes and Set Types.
·         Creating Alternative ID Types.
·         Creating Categories and Hierarchies.
·         Creating Alternative ID Profiles.
Step-1: Creating Attributes and Set Types.
T-Code = <COMM_ATTRSET>
Select Attribute and specify……e.g., ZHP and Click Create.

Specify, Short Text = HP Attribute, and Attribute Type = Character String and Attribute Length = 20.

Save the Attribute. (Don’t select multiple values possible)
Click back and select Set Type: ID = ZHPST

Click Create.
Specify, Description = HP SET TYPE.
Select Material, unchecked multiple used….> Mandatory.

Go to Assigned Attributes and Specify, ZHP, which is created above. (Don’t select “Field Is Key”)

Save the Set Type.
Step-2: Creating Alternative ID Types.
Path:
IMG….> CAC…..> SAP Product…..> Alternative Product IDs.
·         Define ID Types.
·         Define Profiles.
Click on Define ID Types. T-Code = <COMC_PR_ALTID>
Specify an ID = ZHP ID TYPE.

Select Generation Mode and Click Create.
Specify, Short Text = HP ID TYPE
Database Table = Set Type ID which is created above.  i.e., ZHPST and ID Field = ZHP.
Click on Generate ID Type.
Specify the Package and Save.



Save it as a local object.


Step-3: Creating Hierarchies and Categories.
T-Code = <COMM_HIERARCHY>
Click New Hierarchy.

Specify, an ID = ZPHIER, Description = HP HIERARCHY ID……..Continue.








Click the button New Category.
Specify, an ID = ZHPC, Description = HP CATEGORY ID………Click Continue.




Go to the tab category, Specify, Product Type = Material.
Alternative ID Type = HP ID TYPE (Which is created above)

Go to the tab Set Types and Assign the above created Set Type………ZHPST.

Save & exist.
Step-4: Creating Alternative ID Profiles
From the path, Click on define Profiles.
Click on New entries.


Specify, Profile for Alternative IDs = ZHPALTPRO……Click Save.
Highlight the entry and double click on Sequence of ID Type. Click new entries.

Assign the Id Type which is created in step-2………….ZHPIDTYPE.



Save & exist.
Step-5: Go to the Definition of the required Transaction Type……….Telesales.

To the field alternative ID profile assign ZHPALTPRO. (Which is created in step-4)


Save the definition.
Step-6: Test the Customization.
Create a Product Master……..T-Code = <COMMPR01>
Click Material……..Category = MAT_FERT.


Specify, Material Description = HP LAPTOP.
System will generate Product ID number = 100000302.
Go to the SAP basic data tab and assign the category which is created in Step-3…ZHPC…Press enter.
  
A new field will appear. (Attribute created in Step-1)…...Maintain an Alternative ID = HP 630.

Go to the tab Basic data for Materials, Specify, Item Group = NORM, Division = 00, Base unit of measure = UN.
Go to the tab Sales & Distribution……Click the button Assign and Choose the combination of Sales Org. and Distribution Channel.

Specify, Sales Unit = UN, Minimum Order Quantity = 10, Delivery Unit = 10, Item Group = NORM.

Go to the tab Condition And Assign 0PR0-PRICE.

Then Select….PR-SAP004.

Save the Product Master without any error.
Create a Sales Order……Telesales.  T-Code = <CRMD_ORDER>
Specify, Sold-to-Party = 300027, Ship-to-Party = 300027
Product = HP 630, Quantity = 1….Press enter.

Check for the actual Product information determined.
Based on Alternative ID System will determine the details.








PRODUCT MASTER
Product: Goods which can be sale. It can be Material or Services.
Material: Which products having features like measurable, movable, consumable, tangible is called Material. Ex: Car.
Service: Which products having features like intangible, measurable, consumable product type called Service Product. Ex: Car Servicing.
Finance Product: If the product service including money is called Finance Product. Ex: Car Loan.
Financial Services Product:  Credit card purchases is called Financial Services Product. Ex: Credit Card.
Warranty Product: If Service Product has guarrented terms is called Warranty Products. Ex: Car engine having 3 years warranty.
Intellectual Property: Any product which is result of creativity, they are called Intellectual Property. Ex: Logo, Trademark, Copyright etc.
Industry Specific Product: Finance, Financial Service , Intellectual Property.
Global Specific Product:  Material, Services, Warranty.
T-Code = <COMMPR01>
Click the button Material.
Specify, For Category = MAT_FERT (Finished Product)…….Press enter.

Specify, some ID & Description………….ID = ZLGTV, Description = LG TV.

Go to SAP Basic Data tab and specify, Item Category Group = NORM & Division = 00 (Cross Division)
Specify, Base unit of measure = UN.
Go to the tab Sales & Distribution…….Click the button Assign…….System will display Sales Organization and Distribution Channel Combinations. Select the required combination (Select multiple also) and continue.
Specify, Sales Unit = UN, Minimum Order Quantity = 10 UN, Minimum Deliver Unit = 10 UN.
Item Category = NORM. Select the box qualifying for cash discount.

 Go to the tab Conditions (To maintain price data)
Specify, Condition Type = Price, select the table SAP004……………Continue.
Maintain the same Sales Organization and Distribution Channel which maintain under Sales & Distribution tab.
Press enter and check for green staus.
Go to the Documents tab.
Click the icon import document and select the required file…………….Continue.

Click the view Relationship.
Under this section we can maintain information about accessories, counters, customers.
Go to the Accessories tab, An accessory is the existing material.
Specify, the required product id of that accessory = HT-1000…………………Press enter.

Go to the Warranty tab, Warranty is an existing Warranty product.
Maintain the same Sales Organization & Distribution Channel, similar to the top maintain under the Sales & Distribution tab.
Maintain Validity period and Assign the Warranty product i.e., SRV_WTY_F1Y = Warranty.

Save the product master.

We need to capture the Modified records from node itab

data ttab type table of zemp.

get_static_attributes_table( importing table = ttab ).

modify zemp from table ttab.

WDDOINIT( ) is a standard method to initialize the values :

ls_nput-name = 'VijayendarReddy'.
